On April 29, 2011, twenty-seven UNLV PGA Golf Management Students played a combined 2,700 holes of golf raising $8,530 with net proceeds equally split between the PGA Golf Management Program and Par for The Cure.
In the past 7 years, our student lead fundraising events have generated $49,595. This year our fundraising goal for Golfathon is $10,000. Proceeds from the event will be equally shared between Par for The Cure (a local charity dedicated to raising funds for cancer research) and the UNLV PGA Golf Management program.
A portion of your gift may be reinvested in the university's fundraising efforts and may be used for operating expenses, travel, hosting and university receptions to produce further gifts. The gift portion of your donation will be acknowledged by the UNLV Foundation, a Nevada non-profit organization. Tax ID # 94-2790134. Proceeds from the event will be equally shared between the UNLV PGA Golf Management program and Par for The Cure a 501c (3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to raise funds for cancer research.
